Norwood Depot |
This photograph was taken on a TLRS organised visit to Norwood Tram Depot in 1951. Peter Davis, the current TLRS President, and Ken Thorpe have identified these five people standing on the traverser in this rather poor quality view of the inside of Norwood Depot c.1951.
They are (from the left):-
G. B. ("Danny") Daniels
H. James P. Hudson
Richard Elliott
Peter Bedoe
R. L. Stevenson-Jones

New Cross Gate |
This car was built in 1931. It exchanged its trucks for E3 Maximum Traction trucks after its original trucks were taken for use on experimental car No. 1. Like HR2s 101 to 159 it had no trolley poles as these cars were designed for Hilly Routes (services 11 and 58) that were wholly on the conduit system. Car 160 was scrapped in April 1952 on Leyton E3 bogies.
