Picture number 26194 26194 982 E1XX New Kent Road Quite a rare shot showing two Domed Roof cars together. On the left is E1XX 982 built in 1907, rehabilitated in May 1935 and scrapped at Penhall Road in January 1952.
On the right is car No 2, this car was the only "New" tram built by LT using parts from a damaged E1. It is a rehabilitated E1 It received a domed roof upper deck and resembles car No. 1 in appearance.
It was scrapped at Penhall Road in November 1952.
